As CEO and Lead Facilitator of Beyond the Uniform (BTU) LLC, Dee designs transformative workshops and coaching experiences that equip women with the tools, confidence, and community support they need to thrive through career transitions and emerge as bold, purpose-driven leaders.

A Legacy of Leadership and Impact
Dee’s professional journey reflects her steadfast commitment to service, strategic impact, and leadership excellence. As a contracted Business Consultant for a federal agency, she led initiatives focused on talent acquisition and workforce strategy.
Her 12-year tenure supporting the U.S. Department of the Navy HQ included leadership roles managing multimillion-dollar portfolios and directing cross-functional teams of 450 personnel. With a foundation in her Air Force service, intelligence operations, and consulting-level support, Dee thrives in high-stakes, mission-driven environments, always bringing clarity, precision, and resilience to every challenge.
Education & Recognition
Dee has pursued PhD-level coursework in Organizational Leadership, with a concentration on organizational change. Her dedication to leadership and innovation has earned her two National Women of Color Awards for Managerial Leadership and Career Achievement, recognition of her ability to inspire and lead in complex environments.
Women Operating in Overflow (WOO)
Expanding her commitment to women’s empowerment, Dee launched Women Operating in Overflow (WOO), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to resilience, mental wellness, and personal growth. WOO is a safe haven where women move from survival mode into purpose-driven living, providing healing-centered spaces for growth beyond the boardroom.
